Rapunzel's disappearance left Wilhelm and his wife devastated, but their love for their daughter remained strong and unbreakable. Feeling spurned and jealous of Wilhelm scorning her for another woman, Gothel felt it was only right she took what was hers and kidnapped Rapunzel some time after her first birthday, whisking her away to her mansion deep in the woods and casting a magic wall to keep it hidden, while stationing the large dragon Hugo to guard it from would-be visitors. He later married another woman who became his Queen and gave birth to Rapunzel. Prior to when the events in the film take place, Gothel was madly in love with King Wilhelm, but he did not reciprocate her feelings as he only saw her as a good friend and nothing more. Gothel was able to cast lightning which she could use to kill her enemies.
She was able to cast enchantments and absorb her magic when it was redirected back to her, such as when Prince Stefan used a mirror to redirect a blast from Gothel, only for her to catch it. Gothel is strongly skilled in dark magic where she was able to create a magic wall to keep her mansion invisible so no one would find her or Rapunzel. She is also selfish, bossy, capricious, petty, dismissive, and ungrateful. Gothel comes off as hypocritical, claiming that she hates liars but is not above dishonesty herself. Her outfits mostly consist red and dark green colors. With its charming graphics and engaging gameplay, it is easy to see why this game is still popular today.Gothel is an elderly woman with gray hair pulled into a bun, a long angular eyes, green eyes, light brown eyeshadow and magenta lipstick. "Magic Fairy Tales: Barbie As Rapunzel" is a fun and challenging game that is sure to keep players entertained for hours. The fourth and final level is set in a Castle, where Barbie must use her magic to defeat the evil witch and save her prince. The third level is set in a Cave, where Barbie must use her magic to light the way and find her prince. The second level is set in a Tower, where Barbie must use her hair to climb up and reach the prince. The first level is set in a forest, where Barbie must use her magic wand to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. The game consists of four different levels, each of which has its own unique challenges. The player takes on the role of Barbie as she goes on an adventure to save her prince, who has been kidnapped by an evil witch.
